April News

This month we have been lucky to have visits from Garstang Country Market and Overton and District WI members. Its great to see new and familiar faces and exchange ideas.

Mary B has been busy introducing new flavours of scones each week and her bread rolls are getting quite a following. New member Sheila has successfully introduced a range of savouries and the textile stall looks as wonderful as ever with a new range of cushions.

Bob has celebrated another birthday with a sneaky chocolate biscuit and our newest member Francine is proving invaluable help in the kitchen.

The weather has not proved inviting – we did not expect the snow! Hopefully sunshine is just around the corner and the plant stall will soon be heaving.
