The first market of 2013 was well attended and it was good to see so many new faces. The savouries and cakes soon disappeared and there were some late comers who were disappointed to find their favourites had gone – A reminder that it is possible to pre-order items – ask Ann for details.

The handicraft tables were well stocked with Textiles, Jewellery, Knits and Cards and the inclusion of a ‘Spring’ theme table too.

Hopefully warmer weather will reward the plant stall but Primulas, Daffodils and Snowdrops were available.

There was a brisk trade in coffee, tea and home-made cake as shoppers came in out of the cold and a welcoming level of chatter as the market got back into the swing.
