Sunny Mornings Welcome

It’s so much easier to get up for market when it’s light outside and the birds are singing! Hopefully with the snow and frost behind us we can see the plant stall blossoming before our eyes. The past few weeks have been a real contrast and visitor numbers have fluctuated with the weather but we are looking forward to the Summer period when visitors to Clitheroe increase. The new extended opening hours have had a mixed reception but we have definitely seen more people stay for tea, coffee and cake and it’s easier for those travelling from out of town to pop in before the market closes at noon.

Sheila celebrated a birthday this month and treated us all to cake with our morning set up coffee – funny how it never seems to be too early to eat cake!!
