Clitheroe Country Market AGM

Was held once again in Pendleton Village Hall and well supported by the members, area market advisor Liz Mogg and Lancashire chairman and secretary Jim and Janet Pawson. The treasurers report was positive and all were delighted to hear that 2016 had been a successful year. With difficult trading conditions, it had been all hands to the pump and extra efforts had been made to entice new customers and make sure that existing customers were made very welcome. The vote on the new extended opening hours was unanimously carried in favour of the slightly earlier opening and later closing times. This has enabled visitors to arrive on the later bus and still have time for a quick coffee and shop.
