“If everyone who’d complimented our beautiful gallery had bought ‘just a card’ we’d still be open”

Little purchases do make a difference and here at Clitheroe Country Market we don’t mind whether  its a cup of coffee, a card or a pack of home made biscuits. Regular small purchases go towards paying the rent and ensuring the community cooperative stays open every Tuesday.

The Just a Card campaign has really struck a cord across the country and this Thursday September 28th has been designated Just a Card Day. The team at https://www.justacard.org/ are doing a great job supporting and promoting artists and makers and encouraging shoppers to spend their money in the local economy.

Clitheroe Country Market has a great selection of unique cards from hand made photo cards to decoupage and fine art prints. As our market is a Tuesday market we won’t be there on Thursday for Just a Card Day but we wish everyone involved a great day and we will be displaying your poster with our card stands at our weekly market.
