The visit to  Otley Country Market proved a great success with 14 market members from Clitheroe daring to venture into Yorkshire

A warm welcome was forthcoming and a quality selection of cakes, savouries, jams and jellies were on show along with some lovely hand knitted items (Fiona was thrilled with her tea pot cosy)

Tea, coffee, homemade biscuits and cake were enjoyed by all and the noise level rose considerably as ideas were exchanged, packaging discussed and pricing levels examined; a big ‘thank you’ to Otley Country Market for their kind hospitality. It’s interesting to see how other Country Markets operate and good to feel part of a network.

The group then carried on to Stephen H Smiths Garden Centre for lunch and extra retail therapy before heading home having had a very enjoyable day with plenty of time to catch up, chat and gather new ideas.
